How do I register to use the portal?
Contact Hersman & Associates office and speak with your accountant. When set up you receive an email to register your account.
Will I be notified when it’s time to review and sign my return?
YES, after clicking and following the instructions link, you can sign your return
Will I be logged out after signing into the portal?
If you are inactive in the system for 20 minutes or more, you will be logged out for security purposes?
How long will my tax documents be stored on the portal?
Do I need to use a certain web browser?
Google Chrome is recommended, and you should only be working in one browser window at a time, or it will not work.
I can’t locate my registration link, what do I do?
Reach out to your accountant or email HR@hersmancpa.com
I’ve signed my engagement letter and uploaded my documents but can’t send to accountant?
If Married Filing Joint, both you and your spouse must register and sign our engagement letter.
I added files to the Document Locker. Can you view these?
Yes, the Document locker is a place for you to store your files before adding to the organizer to send to us.
Where do I find my Federal and State payment vouchers?
All current year payment vouchers, and any applicable estimated payment vouchers will be located under the Document Locker section.
