Meet Our Team

Eric T Hersman, CPA, graduated from Marshall University in 1994 with a BSBA and a major in accounting. Eric is the firm’s President and CEO. Eric is responsible for all aspects of the practice. Eric is a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs and Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. In 2019, Eric joined with Dave Ramsey and the Ramsey Education group to sponsor Foundations in Personal Finance offered in the areas high schools. Eric is RamseyTrusted and proudly serves his hometown of Ripley, WV and others nationwide with tax planning and preperation services.  

Michele Phillips graduated from WVU-P with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
Michele is the firms payroll manager and has over 15 years of experience. Michele is
responsible for payroll processing, bookkeeping services and write-up work. She is QBO Certified.

Ashton Ratliff graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a minor Marketing. Ashton is the Social Media Manager as well as a tax preparer for the firm. She has a background in customer service and sales. Ashton is responsible for social media management and marketing.

Tara Morrison is a 2006 graduate of Ripley High School and is the firm’s Tax Manager. Tara has over 10 years of experience in customer service, works alongside Eric during tax season in preparing tax returns and is available for any questions you may have. She is a graduate of Income Tax School from Ashworth College.
